Green Life Food Festival in Pasadena

Our mission is to observe and apply the ways of nature or “Natural Agriculture” in our gardening and farming practices for the purpose of creating harmony with the environment as well as obtaining the most healthy grown vegetable yields possible. We support individuals and organizations to review and revolutionize their current practices, and provide a meeting ground for this exploration. We also encourage personal reflection and discussion on how this harmonizing with nature deepens and impacts our own lives personally.

The “Restaurant from the Sky” with English subtitles will be showed at 5:00PM after the GREEN LIFE FOOD FESTIVAL event ends.
Before the start of the showing, there will be an announcement from one of the farmers that inspired the “Restaurant in the Sky” movie.
Admission for movie: $10.00

Restaurantfrom the Sky, a movie which takes place in Setana town in Hokkaido Japan, is a story about people who’s living focuses on food and nature. Directed by Yoshihiro Fukagawa, who is also known for directing “Journey Under the Midnight Sun and In his Chart”, the movie stars many famous actors such as Yo Oizumi. This movie based its story on a real farming group “The Mountain Group,” who practice Shumei Natural Agriculture and organic farming in the town.
